Ab McDonald Alvin Brian "Ab" McDonald (born February 18 1936 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a retired Canadian ice hockey forward.

Anders Hedberg Anders Hedberg (born February 25, 1951 in rnsk ldsvik, Sweden) is a retired former professional ice hockey player who was one of the first European-born players to make an impact in North America. Along with countryman Ulf Nilsson, Hedberg signed a contract to come over to play for the Winnipeg Jets in the World Hockey Association in 1974, after having represented both Modo Hockey and Djurg rdens IF in his native Sweden. He was twice voted best junior in Sweden and as such the only one (1969+1970) and is a graduate from the Stockholm School of Physical Education (GIH).

Andrew McBain Andrew Burton McBain (born January 18, 1965 in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired former professional ice hockey player who spent 11 seasons in the National Hockey League between 1983 and 1994.

Bob Essensa Robert Earle Essensa (born January 14, 1965, in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey goaltender who spent 12 seasons in the National Hockey League. Currently, he serves as the goaltending coach for the Boston Bruins.

Bobby Hull Robert Marvin "Bobby" Hull, OC (born January 3, 1939) is a former Canadian ice hockey player. He is regarded as one of the greatest ice hockey players of all time and perhaps the greatest left winger to ever play the game. Hull was famous for his blonde hair, blinding skating speed, and having the fastest shot, earning him the nickname "the Golden Jet". He possessed the most feared slapshot of his day.

Howard Bradley "Gasser" Gassoff (born November 13, 1955 in Quesnel, British Columbia), is a retired NHL, WCHL, and CHL player.

Brett Andrew Hull (born August 9, 1964) is a former Canadian-American NHL player and the current Executive Vice President of the Dallas Stars. He is the son of Bobby Hull and nephew of Dennis Hull, both former NHL players. Hull is also known as "The Golden Brett," which is a play off of his father's nickname, "The Golden Jet." He played for the Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings and Phoenix Coyotes. Hull scored 741 regular season goals in his career, placing him third all-time for most career goals in the NHL. He also scored what some fans, particularly those of the Buffalo Sabres, consider to be a controversial Stanley Cup winning goal on Buffalo Sabres goaltender Dominik Ha ek in 1999 to give Dallas its only Cup win. Hull also won the Cup as a member of the Red Wings in 2002. The son of a Canadian father and American mother, he holds dual U.S./Canadian citizenship and represented the United States in international competition. Hull was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009. Brian George Hayward (born June 25, 1960 in Georgetown, Ontario) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender and current colour analyst of the Anaheim Ducks on Prime Ticket/Fox Sports West and KDOC.

Bryan William Marchment (born May 1, 1969 in Scarborough, Ontario) is a former Canadian ice hockey Defenceman. He spent his NHL career with the Winnipeg Jets , Chicago Blackhawks, Hartford Whalers, Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, San Jose Sharks, Colorado Avalanche, Toronto Maple Leafs and Calgary Flames. He is currently a scout for the San Jose Sharks.

Dale Hawerchuk Dale Hawerchuk (born April 4, 1963) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey centre and the current head coach of the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League. In 2001, he was elected as an Honoured Member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in his second year of eligibility.

Dave Babych David Michael Babych (born May 23, 1961) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who spent 19 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He is currently an assistant director of player personnel with the Vancouver Canucks. He played in two NHL All-Star Games and played for the Winnipeg Jets, Hartford Whalers, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers and Los Angeles Kings. He is the younger brother of former NHL player Wayne Babych.

Dave Christian David William Christian (born May 12, 1959 in Warroad, Minnesota) is a retired American professional ice hockey forward, who comes from a family of hockey players. His father Bill and uncle Roger were members of the 1960 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team that won the gold medal. Another uncle, Gordon, was a member of the 1956 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team that won the silver medal. Bill and Roger also were the founders, with Hal Bakke, of the Christian Brothers Hockey Company based in Warroad, which makes hockey sticks.

Dave Semenko David John "Dave" Semenko (born July 12, 1957 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a retired hockey player who played for the Edmonton Oilers, Hartford Whalers, and Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL. He was originally selected in 1977 by the Minnesota North Stars of the National Hockey League and the Houston Aeros of the World Hockey Association.

David Ellett David George John Ellett (born March 30, 1964) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who played in the NHL for 16 seasons. He was born in Cleveland because his father, Bob, was a minor-league hockey player playing for the Cleveland Barons of the AHL.

Dean Kennedy Edward Dean Kennedy (born January 18, 1963 in Redvers, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player in the NHL from 1982 1995. He played for the Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers, Buffalo Sabres, Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers.

Jeremy Roenick Jeremy Shaffer "J.R." Roenick (; born January 17, 1970) is a retired American professional ice hockey player who played the majority of his career in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Phoenix Coyotes, Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings, and San Jose Sharks over the course of his 18 NHL season career and represented Team USA in numerous international tournaments. On November 10, 2007, he became the third American-born player (Joe Mullen and Mike Modano are the other two) to score 500 goals.

Jim Kyte James G. Kyte (born March 21, 1964 in Ottawa, Ontario) is a retired former professional ice hockey defenceman who was renowned for his strong, reliable defensive play and complete lack of scoring prowess. He recorded a mere 66 points in 598 career National Hockey League games for the Winnipeg Jets, Pittsburgh Penguins, Calgary Flames, Ottawa Senators and San Jose Sharks. In his most productive season, 1988 89, he scored three goals and added nine assists for twelve points in seventy-four games. He retired in 1997.

Keith Tkachuk Keith Matthew Tkachuk (; born March 28, 1972) is a retired American professional ice hockey player who played for four teams and three franchises in his 19-year career. He is one of only four American-born player to score 500 goals.

Kristopher Draper (born May 24, 1971 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player and alternate captain for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). Draper is a four-time winner of the Stanley Cup, a Frank J. Selke Trophy winner and has scored over 100 goals in a Red Wings uniform. Draper was a member of the famous Grind Line in Detroit, consisting of himself, Kirk Maltby and either Joe Kocur or Darren McCarty. The line was reunited with the return of McCarty to the Wings in the 2007 08 season.

Kristopher King (born February 18, 1966 in Bracebridge, Ontario) is a former Canadian NHL hockey player. He played 14 seasons in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Chicago Blackhawks. He won the King Clancy Memorial Trophy in 1996.

Lars-Erik Sj berg Lars-Erik "Taxen" Sj berg (April 5, 1944, in Falun, Sweden October 20, 1987 in Uppsala, Sweden) was a Swedish ice hockey defenceman. He played in Sweden from 1962 to 1974 (Leksands IF 1962 65; 1967 69, Djurg rdens IF Hockey 1965 67, and V stra Fr lunda IF 1969 74); and in North America for the Winnipeg Jets in the WHA and NHL from 1974 80.

Laurie Boschman Lawrence Joseph Boschman (born June 4, 1960 in Major, Saskatchewan) is a retired professional ice hockey centre who played in the NHL for 14 seasons for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, New Jersey Devils and Ottawa Senators, a team in which he was captain of in his final NHL season.

Mats Lindgren Mats Lindgren (born 1 October 1974 in Skellefte , Sweden) is a former Swedish professional ice hockey forward. He was selected in the first round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, 15th overall, by the Winnipeg Jets, although he never had the opportunity to play for them.

Morris Lukowich Eugene Morris Lukowich (born June 1, 1956 in Speers, Saskatchewan) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. He was a member of the Winnipeg Jets of the World Hockey Association (WHA) and the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1976 to 1985, and later played for the Boston Bruins and Los Angeles Kings of the NHL. Playing left wing, he played in a total of 582 NHL games, registering 199 goals and 219 assists for 418 points in eight NHL seasons.

Nikolai Khabibulin Nikolai Ivanovich Khabibulin (; born January 13, 1973) is a Russian professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previously played for the Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning and Chicago Blackhawks. He is often known by his nickname The Bulin Wall. Other nicknames include The Nyet Minder and The First Tsar.

Norm Beaudin Norman Joseph Andrew Beaudin (born November 26, 1941, in Montmartre, Saskatchewan) is a retired professional ice hockey forward who played 25 games in the National Hockey League and 335 in the World Hockey Association. He played for the Winnipeg Jets, Minnesota North Stars, and St. Louis Blues. He currently owns two hockey stores in Florida.

Norm Maciver Norman Steven Maciver (born September 8, 1964 in Thunder Bay, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League as a member of the New York Rangers, Hartford Whalers, Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins, and the Winnipeg Jets/Phoenix Coyotes franchise.

Pat Elynuik Patrick Gerald Elynuik (born October 30, 1967 in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 506 games in the National Hockey League. After winning a Memorial Cup as a member of the Prince Albert Raiders in 1985, he was drafted in the first round of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft, 8th overall by the Winnipeg Jets. He also played his career for the Washington Capitals, Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators. He retired in 1997.

Phil Housley Phillip Francis Housley (born March 9, 1964 in St. Paul, Minnesota) is a former ice hockey player who played for the Buffalo Sabres, Winnipeg Jets, St. Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, New Jersey Devils, Washington Capitals, Chicago Blackhawks, and Toronto Maple Leafs. Housley currently coaches high school hockey for the Stillwater Ponies of Stillwater, Minnesota.

Randy Andreachuk (born July 19, 1954 in Lethbridge, Alberta) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played in 2 WHA games with the Winnipeg Jets during the 1974 75 season.

Randolph Robert Carlyle (born April 19, 1956 in Sudbury, Ontario) is a former hockey defenceman and currently the head coach of the Anaheim Ducks. He was raised in Azilda, just northwest of Sudbury, Ontario.

Ronald Nicholas Andruff (born July 10, 1953 in Port Alberni, British Columbia) was selected as the first draft pick of the Winnipeg Jets, of the breakaway World Hockey Association, as well as 32nd pick overall (second round) of the National Hockey League Amateur Draft . Ron chose to join the Stanley Cup Champion, Montreal Canadiens. During his 9-years as a pro, he had the distinction of winning the Bronze Medal with Team Canada in the Moscow Isvestia Tournament; shared in three Stanley Cups; won the American League Championship the AL Scoring Title and the Les Cunningham Award for the league s Most Valuable Player (as chosen by the media and players). He played his last two seasons in Germany with Mannheim Eis- und Rollsport Club (MERC) winning the Deutsche Meisterschaft (German National Hockey League Championship) along with the Lieblingsspieler (MVP award as selected by the fans).

Ronald Duguay (born July 6, 1957 in Sudbury, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player and coach who played 12 seasons in the NHL from 1977 through 1989, and served four seasons as a minor league coach. He currently appears as an in-studio analyst during MSG Network's coverage of the New York Rangers.

Serge Savard Serge Aubrey "The Senator" Savard, OC, CQ (born January 22, 1946 in Montreal, Quebec) is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman, most famously with the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is also a local businessman in Montreal, and is nicknamed the Senator.

Sergei Bautin Sergei V. Bautin (born March 11, 1967 in Rahachow, Byelorussian SSR) is a retired ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for the Winnipeg Jets, Detroit Red Wings and the San Jose Sharks.

Shane Doan Shane Albert Doan (born October 10, 1976) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward and captain for the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL). Doan is the longest tenured player on the club, having played all fourteen of his NHL seasons with the Winnipeg Jets/Phoenix Coyotes franchise. He is also the last remaining Coyote to have played for the Jets.

Stuart Barnes (born December 25, 1970) is an assistant coach with the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played 16 seasons at centre in the NHL with the Winnipeg Jets, Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres, and Dallas Stars.

Teemu Ilmari Sel nne () nicknamed "The Finnish Flash" (born July 3, 1970 in Helsinki, Finland) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player and an alternate captain of the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Sel nne was originally drafted into the NHL by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1st round, 10th overall in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. He is the all-time points leader in men's Olympic ice hockey with 38 points in 31 games. Teppo Kalevi Numminen (born July 3, 1968 in Tampere, Finland) is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League.

Thomas Kjell Gradin (born February 18, 1956) was a professional ice hockey player in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1978 to 1987. He is best remembered for the 8 seasons he spent with the Vancouver Canucks, and remains one of the top players in that franchise's history.

Troy Norman Murray (born July 31, 1962 in Calgary, Alberta) is a former professional ice hockey centre who played in the NHL. He is currently the color analyst on WGN-AM broadcasts of Chicago Blackhawks hockey games.

Wayne Douglas Gretzky, CC LLD (hc) (; born January 26, 1961) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player. Nicknamed "The Great One," Gretzky is generally regarded as the best player in the history of the NHL, and has been called "the greatest hockey player ever" by many sportswriters, players, and the NHL itself. Upon his retirement on April 18, 1999, he held forty regular-season records, fifteen playoff records, and six All-Star records. He is the only NHL player to total over 200 points in one season a feat he accomplished four times. In addition, he tallied over 100 points in 15 WHA/NHL seasons, 14 of them consecutive. Gretzky's jersey number, 99, has been retired by all teams in the National Hockey League. He was voted one of six players to the International Ice Hockey Federation's (IIHF) Centennial All-Star Team in a poll conducted by a group of 56 experts from 16 countries.
