Chilean Volcano Update 2 Update 1648CT/13JUN Due to volcanic ash from the Chilean volcano, AA flights on June 13 from the U.S. to EZE and EZE to U.S have cancelled. American Airlines is in the process of rebooking customers. Due to the fluidness of this situation, American Airlines will be viewing their flight information carefully. Today, 17MAY11, JAL announced that it will extend the period of reduction of frequencies on eight international routes and will reduce those on seven domestic routes until near the end of June. A Boeing 767-300ER aircraft will also remain in use for flights JL3087 and JL3082 between Narita and Nagoya instead of the larger 777-300ER during this time. JAL will resume normal schedules of three daily flights to Honolulu and two daily to Shanghai from Tokyo (Narita) from next month, after temporarily suspending one daily flight on each route since April.
